Partial outage on Forge invocations and deployment
We have identified a problem with Forge deployment and for invocation functionalities. The problem started on 17th January 2023 04:00 GMT and has been fixed on 19th January 2023 04:00 GMT. On 17th January 04:00 GMT, we released a new version of the Forge Runtime to upgrade the Node version from 14 to 16. Any new redeployment of the app would use a Runtime version based on Node 16. Forge developers who redeployed their app with this upgraded version may have experienced issues at deployment step and/or invocation step. When running forge deploy, an error message 'Function snapshot generation ran out of memory.' could be seen, and some apps were slow or could not be invoked. On 19th January 2023 at 04:00 GMT, we rolled back the Runtime version to the latest stable one, based on Node 14. All the new app redeployments will be based on the latest stable version. Forge App logs are degraded
The impact started on 2023-01-10 5:51 AM. A small percentage of Forge App Logs are not currently being ingested. This will impact Forge Apps on all environments; Development, Staging and Production. The team are currently working on a fix. The next update is expected in 1 hour at around 7:15 UTC.
