Delayed webhooks

On the 30th of May, as part of our efforts to scale our web hook delivery infrastructure we rolled out a changed that caused delays to webhooks.

We rolled back the change, and over the subsequent days, have made additional changes to improve the throughput of the system.

We have also introduced more alerting as part of our ongoing scalability efforts.

Our engineers have put a mitigation in place. We are once again processing webhooks in a timely manner.

We will continue to monitor the health and performance of the affected components.
