Around 12pm UTC, our team was alerted about an issue with our Zapier integration's authentication process. Our engineers have identified the root cause and are working on resolving this issue. This issue does not affect existing Zaps or new Zaps for customers who have already established a connection between Hotjar and Zapier. However, users who attempted to establish or re-establish a connection between the platforms would encounter an error and the authentication step would fail.

The subscription status for existing customers is returned as being canceled. All customers still have access to their Insights. However, existing customers will encounter issues if they try to edit their subscriptions. Our engineers have identified the root cause and are working on resolving this issue. New User accounts have been added to a Product Demo site, causing disruption to users
Last week, customers reached out to report confusion over receiving email notifications for our Product Demo Site in Insights. This was due to an experiment Hotjar was running, where all new user accounts were added with Read-Only access to that site - this has caused confusion and a poor experience for our users, so we halted this experiment as soon as this impact was identified. Emails for users with access to the site are still being sent out currently. We're working to remove those users from the site as soon as we can, as well as stopping all further notification emails for the site. We'll post updates here as and when we have them. Our apologies once again for the disruption!
