Current status: We've begun rolling out the cleanup solution throughout the affected environment and anticipate the deployment will complete by the time of our next scheduled communications update, at which point we'll monitor the solution as it cleans up the remaining duplicate contacts throughout the environment, which we expect will take another 3-4 days.

Current status: We've validated the cleanup solution in our internal testing environment, and we've deployed the fix. We expect the fix to be fully saturated within the affected infrastructure on Sunday, August 20, 2023. However, full remediation may take longer as the fix progresses through all affected mailboxes. Affected users can follow the instructions in the workaround article linked above to manually remove the duplicate contacts before the cleanup solution finishes deploying and running throughout the affected environment.
