At 2:09 PM EDT until 2:17 PM EDT the YCharts application experiences a DoS attack that caused minor disruption to our users for approximately 8 minutes. It is important to note that a DoS attack does not compromise user's data or privacy in any way, it simply causes the site to be slow and at points unreachable. The attack was mitigated in minutes and work is underway to make future attacks unsuccessful and not cause a disruption to our users.
