Data Ingestion issue in User Profiles
We've spotted that user profile events haven't been ingested since 24/10/2022 at around 10PM BST. We are re-starting the relevant servers and our user profile system should be back to a healthy status by end of day (25/10/2022 ~6pm BST). The majority of Yieldify Experiences will not be unaffected as the data ingested by our back-end User Profile service is only used if it cannot be retrieved from the browser's storage.

An incident with our Dynamic Coupon generation was reported and confirmed around 7 PM BST. It stemmed from a change introduced during a release on Thursday the 19th of May and was fixed by Friday at 9:20 PM BST.

Leads are not sent to ESPs integrated through YCP
We detected a drop in the number of leads sent to our integration partner. This drop started on Thursday, the 24th of March at around 10 am GMT. As of the 29th of March, we have identified and fixed the relevant systems. Leads are now processed and sent as expected to any integrated ESPs and CRMs systems. We are monitoring our systems and we will ensure that all leads that were not processed between the 24th and the 29th are re-processed.

Yieldify is actively following the security vulnerability found in the open-source Apache Log4j utility (CVE-2021-44228). The Apache Log4j utility is a commonly used library for logging requests in Java based projects and codebases. On December 9, 2021, a vulnerability was reported that could allow a system running Apache Log4j version 2.14.1 or below to be compromised and allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code. On December 10, 2021, NIST published a critical Common Vulnerabilities and Exposure alert, CVE-2021-44228. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from remote servers when message lookup substitution is enabled.
