We are aware of a security issue involving eMudhra, a third-party certificate authority used to verify secure internet connections. Our security and engineering teams are assessing potential exposure and proactively updating affected software and certificate bundles across our services and applications. At this time, we have not identified evidence that Notion has been compromised in connection with this issue. This work is a preventative security measure, rather than a response to a service outage. Users are unable to install workspace-scoped connections created by other members of their workspace because these connections are not appearing in Browse in connection settings. Connection creators can still install their own connections. We are investigating and working on a fix.

We’re investigating reports that some Notion Agent requests stop before completing. We’re working to understand the scope and will share an update when we know more.

We are investigating an issue preventing Custom Agents powered by Cursor from loading Notion tools. This issue began on October 12 at 18:00 UTC.

Between approximately 9:00am and 10:00am PDT on October 13, 2026, users may have encountered errors when submitting Notion forms. This issue is now resolved, and form submissions are working normally. We apologize for the disruption.

Some users experienced delayed or missing real-time updates in Notion during an earlier disruption around 2am PDT on October 13 and again from approximately 7:30am to 8:45am PDT. Degraded performance for page creation, updates in the Notion API and image uploads to Notion AI has also been reported. We have applied mitigations for the real-time update disruption and are monitoring recovery. We are confirming whether the reported API impact has fully recovered. We apologize for the disruption.

Some users may not see live edits from collaborators appear automatically in Notion pages and databases. We are investigating the issue and working to restore real-time updates. Refreshing the page may help display the latest changes.

We’ve identified the issue and are taking steps to restore normal performance. We’ll update again after confirming recovery.
