500 errors on user preferences pages

We are seeing a number of 500 errors occurring when users attempt to navigate to the user profile settings in the UI - We have identified the issue and are working on a fix. The issue is being tracked in the incident issue: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/gl-infra/production/-/issues/18867
