We've identified an issue with SaaS Windows Synthetic AG version 1.289.25. Rebooting the AG will mitigate the issue. Another possible workaround is to downgrade the AG to the previous version. We're still working on the permanent fix and will continue to provide further updates.

We recommend rebooting the AG to mitigate the issue. The synthetic AG will work as expected then. We’re still investigating the root cause for a permanent fix.
Another workaround is reinstalling the synthetic AG to the previous version and disabling the auto-updates so they don't auto-upgrade again. Note: Rebooting is the recommended mitigation method.

We have confirmed this issue is caused by 3rd-party anti-malware software in customer's private synthetic AGs, and it is not impacting our public synthetic infrastructure. We are actively working with impacted customers to solve their issues.
