This incident has been resolved.
Update: We have experienced some shorter instances of slowness in the checkout during the morning. A fix was implemented as communicated previously which seems to have stabilised the situation and improved the platform performance. We are continuing to investigate the root cause and monitor the situation and will follow up with more information later on.
