Outage Details

Starting at October 26th, 2022 11:15AM PDT, some users with Sonos devices connected to their hubs may have started experiencing issues with their hub frequently rebooting. We have identified the issue and have taken remediation steps which has restored functionality for a subset of impacted users at this time. We are continuing to work on resolving the issue for the remaining impacted users and will provide updates as available. If you are still experiencing this issue, please turn off your Sonos speaker for 30 minutes, you can power it back on after your Hub’s LEDs are green.

Hub firmware version 0.45.11 has been released to the aforementioned users which should resolve the frequent Hub reboot issue. We will continue to monitor to ensure the issue is completely resolved. Please contact us via support.smartthings.com if you have any questions.

To address the issue causing frequent Hub reboots, Hub firmware version 0.45.11 will be released to a subset of users.

Your Hub will briefly go offline as it reboots and applies the update; most users will experience less than one minute of downtime. We will update the status page once the release has been completed.

We have identified the issue which has been causing frequent hub reboots for a subset of users with Sonos devices. Affected hubs may be experiencing issues with device control and automation execution. We are currently working on a solution to fix this issue via a firmware update.

Unplugging all Sonos devices connected to SmartThings for 30 minutes then power cycling the SmartThings Hub will resolve this issue without waiting for a firmware update.
