Service Issue with Speech Recognition on Voice Platform

The incident impacting the Automatic Speech Recognition feature on Voice API calls is now resolved.

Services were impacted between 2024-05-07 12:24 AM UTC - 2024-05-07 05:03 AM UTC.

The list of services that were impacted has been confirmed as Voice API - Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) feature. Customers using the ASR feature on Voice API calls in the EU-West-1 and EU-Central-1 regions would have experienced issues. Speech Recognition should be working as expected now, and no further impact is expected.

We will continue to monitor the service during the next few hours and post updates should anything change.

We have identified the root cause of the service degradation for Speech Recognition Product in the EU Data Centers. Customers may experience problems using the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) feature on Voice API calls.

We are currently working on getting the issue fixed and will post further updates here.
