The Exchange is now out of maintenance mode. We are continuing to monitor for any issues.

The planned maintenance is running behind schedule and we've delayed moving the Exchange maintenance mode for 30 minutes. We expect to put the Exchange into maintenance mode at 18h15 GMT for 1 hour.

Luno will undergo scheduled database maintenance to perform essential infrastructure upgrades. This maintenance is necessary to ensure system integrity and continue providing optimal service to our customers.

During this period, the Luno exchange will operate with limited functionality, and our Instant buy and sell service will be interrupted.

Impact on Trading on the Exchange
During the maintenance window, the exchange will be placed in Maintenance mode. This means:
- You cannot place any orders on the exchange via the Website, Apps or API.
- Existing open orders will remain in the order book.
- No new trades will be executed during this period.

Impact on Instant Buy and Sell
During the maintenance window, the buy/sell functionality on all platforms may be down intermittently. This means:
- You will not be able to request quotes to buy or sell crypto
- You will not be able to accept quotes to execute the buying or selling of crypto.

Delayed Balance Updates
During the maintenance window, customers may experience balance update delays after buying/selling/sending/receiving/depositing/withdrawing. Balances will display correctly again after the maintenance window.
