Outage Details

We are currently noticing issues in the backup restore feature on the Mendix Cloud platform. We suggest to not perform any restore backup operations for your critical production applications. As per our initial investigation, this issue is impacting a small subset of our customers. We are trying to find more details, and will reach out separately with more details to individual application owners.

The maintenance has been completed for the affected environments.

We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue. For all the identified environments which are impacted by this issue, our engineering team have scheduled a maintenance and the same has been communicated over an email to the Technical contacts.
Maintenances are also visible on the Developer Portal.

Maintenances will be executed starting tomorrow, i.e 26th July (Wednesday) and should be completed in the next scheduled maintenance window of your identified application environment.

We have identified the impact of the issue and the same has been communicated to the individual application owners via an email yesterday.
Our engineering team is working towards a remediation plan, which requires us to perform an urgent maintenance on the impacted application environments.

This will be communicated again to the application owners soon over an email.
If you are Technical contact of an app, and have not received any emails from our Support team, you can continue using the Backup restore functionality as usual.

The issue is specific to applications which are running on the database version PostgresSQL 13.10. This data is updated after an application is restarted. To find the latest database version for your environment, we suggest performing a restart of your environment.
In case the database version is set to PostgresSQL 13.10 please refrain from restoring a backup.

You can see the database version on Developer portal following the below steps:
Environments -> Details -> Database Version
