The team is experiencing issues with the database when performing a site switch and is working on fixing the issues so that the site switch can be resumed.

The team determined that a recent change is the likely trigger of the issue. The hosts didn’t restart effectively after the change, so the team performed a restart, which brought customers out of service disruption. However, the environment remained unstable. The team decided that a site switch is the best path to bring customers out of impact, which will bring customers back into service disruption for approximately 15 minutes.

Upon further investigation, the Salesforce Technology team has determined that the start time of impact is different than initially understood. We have now revised the start time of the Trust post to more accurately reflect the time customers may have begun to experience impact. We apologize for any confusion caused by this.
