Service Degradation for Redpanda Cloud Clusters in GCP asia-south1 region

We are currently experiencing issues with creating and reconciling GCP clusters in the asia-south1 region (Mumbai). Due to a third-party outage affecting Google Cloud Platform's regional services, the following operations may be impacted: - Creating new clusters - Scaling existing clusters - Applying configuration changes Our engineering team is actively monitoring the situation and working with Google Cloud to restore full service functionality. Existing running clusters in the region should continue operating normally, but management operations may fail. We recommend customers temporarily use alternative regions (such as asia-southeast1 or asia-east1) for new deployments until this issue is resolved.
