In 2020, I was on-call and got a PagerDuty alert at 4:00 AM. I spent 30 minutes debugging what looked like a database failure. Turns out the problem wasn't with us. Our provider had posted an outage on their status page, but we weren't subscribed.
That night I realized how broken the process was. The company relied on dozens of cloud providers, each with its own status page format. There was no single place to see what was down and why.
I built IsDown to fix that. A status page aggregator that gives operations teams a single source of truth for all their vendor dependencies.

What IsDown does.
IsDown aggregates status pages from all major cloud vendors into one dashboard. When a provider reports an incident, your team gets notified immediately through Slack, PagerDuty, Datadog, Microsoft Teams, or any of our other integrations.
We also detect outages before providers officially report them. Our early detection system spots performance degradation and service issues, giving your team a head start on incident response.
The goal is simple: IsDown shouldn't be another dashboard to check. It should push the right information to the tools your team already uses, so you can identify root causes faster and stop debugging problems that aren't yours.
