There’s a Salesforce service performance degradation. Users can access the Salesforce service, but some functionality can be unavailable or running at less than optimal performance. General and intermittent slow performance, timeouts, and connectivity issues are possible. The teams identified that one of the master servers is unresponsive. Teams continue to work on bringing the server back online, and in parallel, are identifying other paths to restore service.

At 11:29 UTC on July 03, 2024, our Salesforce Technology team became aware of performance degradation in the IA6 (Washington DC) data center. This degradation is impacting a support service used by the application tier, which supports features including Custom Big Objects, Chatbots, Login Forensics, Field Audit Trail, and Chatter. The Technology team is exploring multiple paths to isolate the underlying cause of the issue.
