As of 05:30 UTC, our Engineering team has confirmed with our upstream providers that they have been able to mitigate the network connectivity issues in the BLR1 region.
At this time users should not experience intermittent degraded performance and timeout errors with Droplet-based services to and from the BLR1 region.

Our Engineering team is continuing to work with upstream providers to fix the network connectivity issues we are experiencing in the BLR1 region. The problems appear to be a direct result of multiple subsea fiber faults in the APAC region causing congestion resulting in packet loss and increased latency connecting to the BLR1 region, especially on US <-> BLR bi-directional routes.
At this time users will continue experiencing intermittent degraded performance including timeout errors with Droplet-based services in the BLR1 region.
