Resolved Performance Degradation for Frame Accounts Deployed in Azure Related to Emerging Azure Service Outage

We are seeing some degraded performance for Frame Accounts running workloads in Microsoft Azure. Issues may include inability to power on VMs or successfully connect to a Frame session. Microsoft has reported an emerging issue at https://status.azure.com. We are still investigating, please monitor Microsoft’s status page and we will also post updates here as we receive more information.

Resolved Microsoft Azure AD Outage Impacting Launch of Frame Sessions

Frame customers with accounts deployed on Microsoft Azure or using Azure AD for authentication may be experiencing issues logging in with Azure AD or launching new Frame sessions. This appears to be related to the Azure AD outage that Microsoft has recently posted on https://status.azure.com. Below is a copy of the incident post from Microsoft: "Warning: Authentication errors across multiple Microsoft services - Investigating SUMMARY OF IMPACT: Starting at approximately 19:15 UTC on 15 Mar 2021, a subset of customers may experience issues authenticating into Microsoft services, including Microsoft Teams, Office and/or Dynamics, Xbox Live, and the Azure Portal. CURRENT STATUS: Engineering teams have been engaged and are currently investigating. The next update will be provided in 60 minutes or as events warrant. This message was last updated at 19:58 UTC on 15 March 2021" Nutanix is also investigating the issue and will update this incident with relevant notices. We recommend monitoring both the Nutanix Status page as well as Microsoft Azure Status page for the latest updates.

Resolved Scrolling issue within Frame session when accessing via latest version of Google Chrome

We have confirmed that there is an application scrolling issue via mouse/trackpad within Frame sessions for users leveraging the latest release of Google Chrome v89.0.4389.90 (released on March 13, 2021). An update to resolve this issue is under development and should be available shortly. An immediate work-around for affected users is to downgrade the Chrome version or use an alternate browser.

Resolved Login errors for Xi Beam Government platform (beam.nutanix.us)

Users are currently unable to login to the Xi Beam Government platform (beam.nutanix.us). Xi Beam commercial platform is not impacted. We are investigating this issue.

Resolved CPanel Front end service timeouts

We are currently experiencing an issue that is causing some front end operations to timeout. This may prevent some users from being able to access console.nutanix.com and may prevent some admin tasks from completing. We have identified the issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. Please check back at status.nutanix.com for updates.

Resolved Login errors on Xi Government Cloud platforms

Users accessing Xi Government Cloud platforms (frame.nutanix.us, beam.nutanix.us, console.nutanix.us) are experiencing high rates of failure during login. Other platforms are not impacted. This issue is being investigated.

Resolved Unable to Log in to console.nutanix.com Using Custom Authentication Providers

We are currently experiencing an issue where some users are not able to initiate the login flow with Custom Authentication Providers. Logins initiated by external IdPs are unaffected. We have identified the issue and are working on the resolution.

Resolved Issues Starting New Instances

We are currently experiencing an issue that might prevent some users from starting new instances on our Xi Frame Platform. Users trying to connect to an already running instance or in an active session should not be affected.

Resolved Issues Starting Sessions

We are currently experiencing an issue that might prevent some users from starting sessions on our Xi Frame Platform. We are currently investigating the cause of this issue. This issue does not appear to be affecting publisher.fra.me or our app.fra.me Platforms. Please check back at status.fra.me for updates.
