We have identified the cause of the issue and implemented a resolution. To avoid potential gateway issues, when changing to the PayPal Pro payment gateway please ensure that the Payment Capture Setting is set to "Automatic Authorize and Capture". This can be achieved by going to Settings > Payment in your dashboard and clicking the Advanced Settings link while on the Payment Gateway tab.
