Degraded Performance on Polygon Mainnet

This incident has been resolved.

We’ve implemented multiple mitigations on our side (restored archival capacity, improved peer stability, and more).
Error rates have dropped dramatically and the service is stable. We’re continuing to work with the Polygon team on the remaining client-side syncing/peering hardening; very rare isolated occurrences may still be observed in the short term.

The hotfix did not resolve the issue. We’re still seeing impact, and are continuing to work closely with the Polygon team on a follow-up fix and full remediation.

The Polygon team has helped us identify the underlying issue and has assisted in providing a hotfix. Our engineerings are currently validating the fix.

The Erigon segment of our Polygon Mainnet node fleet is experiencing synchronization issues. This may result in elevated 32xxx errors for requests that depend on historical state. Our team is actively applying corrective measures and coordinating directly with the Polygon team to accelerate full remediation.
