Aunalytics is investigating an outage affecting Cloud and Internet in Ohio. One of the core switches in Columbus seems to have failed. The switch is part of a redundant pair but the failover appears to not have been clean.

Aunalytics is investigating an outage affecting Cloud and Internet in Ohio. One of the core switches in Columbus seems to have failed. The switch is part of a redundant pair but the failover appears to not have been clean.

There is a memory leak on both switches. We have recovered switch 2 however switch 1 is still flapping. We are going to have to manually power cycle switch 1 and plug connections back into Switch 2. There will be a period of disruption 1-2 minutes.

Switch 2 is now inline and appears to be stable. Some single homed circuits are in the process of being moved over. Switch 1 has been disconnected, and we are attempting to recover it.
If successful we will schedule a maintenance to reconnect it to the network.
We believe services to be in a stable state now.
