Impact Summary
Starting at 3 August 2026 16:24 UTC, Unity Catalog, Lakeflow Jobs, and workspace and account access in Azure West Central US and East Asia may fail to complete requests.

Symptoms
Customers may observe:
- Requests to Unity Catalog failing or timing out
- Lakeflow Jobs failing to start, or failing during execution
- SQL queries failing or timing out
- Notebook and Workspace UI actions that require a permission check failing to complete
- Sign-in, workspace administration, and account administration actions not completing

Recommendations
No customer action is required at this time. We recommend avoiding repeated retries of failed operations while remediation continues. Customers with time-sensitive workloads may wish to evaluate their existing disaster recovery or high-availability plans while remediation continues.

Current Status
The cloud provider has identified the source of impact and remediation is in progress.
