Availability Degradation in West Europe

We see recovery after our latest set of mitigation. User impact should be gone at this moment.

We completed one mitigation and saw slight improvement to the situation, but the issue still persists.

Our engineers are about to perform another set of mitigations to get database CPU under control.

We completed failover process for both databases but the CPU is still high which causes the service to not be available for customers with data on these two databases.
Our engineers are working on understanding the root cause of elevated database CPU as initial mitigation did not help.

We have identified the root cause to be two overloaded databases in the region. Users with the data on these two databases may experience slowness when using Azure DevOps.
We're initiating database failover process for those two overloaded databases.

Our engineers are currently investigating an event impacting Azure DevOps. The event is being triaged and we will post an update as soon as we know more.
