Impact Statement: Starting at 02:45 UTC on 23 Jan 2023, Azure Synapse Analytics customers with resources in West Europe may be experiencing connectivity issues when trying to access their workspace.Current Status: We determined that components of a backend service which Azure Synapse Analytics relies on became unhealthy. Due to dependency between services, this resulted in connectivity issues for Synapse Analytics customers with resources hosted in the West Europe region. We have developed and tested a hotfix, which has been applied. We are monitoring our health signals to confirm mitigation and some customers may begin to experience recovery. The next update will be provided in 60 minutes, or as events warrant.
