Starting on May 13, 2025, customers using Azure Virtual Machines or Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) running Microsoft Windows 11 may have been impacted by a recent Windows update (KB 5058405). This update has caused issues for customers, leading to system crashes and blue screens. As a result, affected computers are failing to boot up following the application of this update, causing significant disruptions.We are aware of this issue and currently investigating. The next update will be provided in 60 minutes or as events warrant.
