The issue caused older events from September 29 to be re-ingested, resulting in duplicate or redundant alert notifications for affected users. The engineering team identified the root cause and resolved the incident by 20:44 UTC, fully restoring O365 event ingestion and alert notifications.

Barracuda XDR is currently experiencing an intermittent service disruption affecting Microsoft O365 event ingestion since 06:30 UTC on 2 October. As a result, some older events from 29 September were ingested, which may have generated duplicate or redundant alert notifications.
