Email messaging intermittent failures (email verification problems)

This incident has been resolved. All email sending has returned to normal. At this time, if you have adjusted email verification settings previously, you may reset to regular email verification requirements now. Thank you for your patience as we worked through this issue!

We have implemented a fix for email sending issues and are monitoring to ensure stability of our services. We will update in one hour (at 6:30 CDT) to confirm stability of email sending.

We are continuing to investigate this issue. At this time, it appears that this issue is occurring on an intermittent basis, but will cause problem for new users signing up or renewing a pass.

As a result, we recommend program operators to review their email verification settings to determine if email verification should be turned off temporarily while this issue persists.

We are currently investigating an issue where users are not receiving email verification messages. We apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to update as troubleshooting continues.
