Issue with publishing to Mastodon accounts hosted on mastodon.social and mastodon.online

The success rate for Mastodon publishing over the past hour has significantly increased, and although both mastodon.social: http://mastodon.social and mastodon.online: http://mastodon.online status pages still show “investigating”, the behaviour we’re seeing suggests the issue may be resolved. We'll continue to monitor this.

We’re currently seeing publishing failures through Buffer for Mastodon accounts hosted on mastodon.social: http://mastodon.social and mastodon.online: http://mastodon.online. This affects some Mastodon posts, rather than all Mastodon publishing.

The mastodon.social: http://mastodon.social team has reported connectivity issues and is actively investigating. We’re tracking the disruption and its impact on publishing through Buffer. We’re sorry for the interruption and appreciate your patience.
