Codility’s US platform is currently experiencing a major outage due to an ongoing incident with our cloud provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS).

At this time the Codility platform is unavailable and candidate sessions and live interviews cannot be started or resumed. Customer dashboards and admin access are unavailable.

Our engineering team is actively working with AWS to restore full service and is implementing mitigation steps to reduce impact.

We will provide the next update by 09:00 UTC or sooner as new information becomes available.

Codility’s EU platform is experiencing partial services disruption.

We continue to work on restoring affected services to normal operation. Our team is actively monitoring the situation and will provide an update as soon as we have a confirmed ETA for full resolution.
The underlying issue is related to an ongoing incident with Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is investigating elevated error rates across their infrastructure. Based on the most recent update from AWS, the issue appears to be related to DNS resolution of the DynamoDB API endpoint in US-EAST-1 region.
