The incident has been resolved. All affected connections are back up and operating normally.
MONITORING

The permission change was made this morning as part of a regularly scheduled upgrade to the environment. The upgrade has been rolled back and we are seeing creation of SSH tunnels succeed again. We are in the process of resuming all affected CDC connections and will monitor the recovery of the connections and their pipelines.

The issue is limited to CDC connections that connect via SSH tunnels. A bad permission change caused the SSH tunnel creation to fail. We are implementing a fix for this currently.
