Fly.io experienced a partial outage in its ORD (Chicago) region lasting approximately 1.2 hours due to a networking hardware failure at an upstream provider. A subset of hosts became unreachable, causing machines to be unresponsive, deployments to fail, and some Managed Postgres clusters to be unavailable or experience connectivity issues. The root cause was identified and resolved in coordination with the upstream provider, with the incident fully resolved after a short monitoring period.
