Microsoft Graph Synchronization Errors for New Connectors

After deeper investigation, we have found that the scope of this issue is broader than initially communicated. The impact is not limited to connectors created after 10 August 2026 — any connector whose Microsoft sync token has been refreshed since the issue began may also be affected.
We continue to work with Microsoft on a resolution and will provide a further update by the end of this week

On August 11th 2026 at approximately 14:00 UTC, we began seeing elevated error rates in the Microsoft Graph endpoint used for synchronization of backup jobs.

The issue only affect connectors created since August 10th 2026. All connectors created prior to this continue to work as expected.

In collaboration with our Microsoft account managers we have confirmed that the issue in with the vendor, and that we are unable to perform mitigating action from Keepit's end.

It's imperative for us to emphasize, that all existing backups are unaffected by this issue!
