AWS Connectivity Maintenance

As part of the University’s Network Transformation Programme, we will be migrating our AWS connectivity links from the legacy network infrastructure to the new network platform during the following maintenance window:

Saturday 12th September to Sunday 13th September
08:00 to 18:00 each day

During the migration, there may be a brief interruption to some University services that rely on connectivity to externally hosted systems. Users accessing affected services may experience a temporary loss of connection or may need to refresh or reconnect.

The majority of University IT services are expected to remain available throughout the maintenance. The interruption is expected to be brief while the connectivity is transferred to the new network platform. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption, and updates will be provided via the Kingston University ITS Status Page.
