Connectivity Issues - Web & Mobile

This incident has been resolved.

After continued monitoring, we have identified that some clients are still experiencing issues with withheld funds related to Instant Buy/Sell transactions.

Our teams are actively investigating, and we will provide another update within the next few hours.

A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.

In addition to card and digital wallet purchases, some balances from Bank Transfer transactions may also be temporarily withheld.

While transactions may appear as successful, the associated funds may not yet be credited to your Kraken account or available for trading.

Our engineering teams are actively investigating the issue and working to restore normal functionality as quickly as possible.

We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.

Following the earlier service degradation, we are currently investigating an issue affecting some card and digital wallet purchases, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

In some cases, transactions may appear as successful and funds may have been charged by the bank or payment provider, but the corresponding balance is either not yet credited to the Kraken account or is not yet available for trading.

Our engineering teams are actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
