Update – LINQ Connect School Menus (Guest View)

School Menus through Guest View in LINQ Connect are now accessible again through Desktop Web Browsers and Mobile Web Browsers. Districts, parents, and community members can once again view menus directly through any web browser on a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

We sincerely apologize for how this disruption impacted your communities and daily operations. Since the issue was originally reported on the LSN Status Page, our team has been working continuously to restore this functionality as quickly as possible. We recognize that School Menus through Guest View are not only used by parents, but also by other important members of your district community, including staff such as school nurses who rely on this information.

While access has been restored, our team is continuing to actively monitor the functionality to ensure everything remains stable before we consider the issue fully resolved.

Guest access to School Menus in LINQ Connect is still temporarily unavailable while our engineering team continues working to restore this functionality.

Parents without accounts can still create one free of charge and link their students to view menus directly. This provides a simple and reliable way to access menus while Guest View is temporarily unavailable.

If you need to share menu or nutrition data with other parties within the district, you can generate Recipe Nutrient reports and Menu Calendars directly within LINQ School Nutrition (LSN). These reports can also be automated via the Report Scheduler and emailed to recipients until Guest View access is fully restored.

This will be the final update for today. Updates will resume tomorrow morning, as we anticipate that School Menus via Guest View may remain temporarily disabled into tomorrow while our team continues working toward a resolution.

Accessing Menus:

All users can still view menus by signing into their LINQ Connect accounts. Menus are accessible through:


Desktop web browser
Mobile devices using a web browser
The LINQ Connect mobile application


Accessing Recipe and Nutrient Details:

Districts can continue to access recipe and nutrient details using reports within the LSN District Portal. The Menu Calendar and Recipe Nutrient reports provide the necessary data.

Steps to run the report:


Go to Reports

Select Menu Planning

Choose Menu Calendar and/or Recipe Nutrient

Select the Menu Plan(s) you want to review


To automate the report:


Create a Report Template with the desired Menu Plan and nutrient selections
Go to Reports → Report Scheduler

Select Add New Schedule

Choose the Report Template you created
Set the Destination Type to Email

Enter the recipient email addresses (such as nurses or administrators)
Choose the needed frequency (daily, weekly, etc.)
Click Save

Status Update: LINQ Connect School Menus

The School Menus feature remains temporarily disabled in Guest View on the LINQ Connect main page. Some authenticated users (parent accounts) may also experience intermittent issues when attempting to view menus. Our team is continuing to monitor system performance and investigate these issues as we work toward a full resolution to ensure a stable and reliable experience for all users.

Accessing Menu Plans and Nutrient Information

Districts can continue to access recipe and nutrient details by using reports within the LSN District Portal. The Recipe Nutrient and Menu Calendar reports allow you to capture the necessary data. If needed, these reports can also be scheduled to automatically send to other staff members (such as district administrators, nurses, or other personnel) while the School Menus feature is limited.

Steps to run the report:



Go to Reports


Select Menu Planning


Choose Menu Calendar and/or Recipe Nutrient


Select the Menu Plan(s) you want to review



Templates can be created for both reports (for example, you can make templates for your Elementary Breakfast, Middle School Breakfast, High School Breakfast, etc.)

Automating Reports for District Administrators

To automate the report:



Create a Report Template with the desired Menu Plan and nutrient selections.


Go to Reports → Report Scheduler.


Select Add New Schedule.


Choose the Report Template you created.


Set the Destination Type to Email.


Enter the recipient email addresses (such as nurses or administrators)


Choose the needed frequency (daily, weekly, etc.)


Click Save
