More info: Affected users see the following error message: "Hmm... looks like this file doesn't have a preview we can show you."

Users can bypass the issue by downloading and opening affected .MSG files in Outlook.

Current status: We're working in parallel with the developers of the open source component responsible for the issue, and have confirmed they've developed a fix for the issue which is being prepared for deployment. We're awaiting their confirmation of deployment and to confirm if additional steps will be needed from the OneDrive for Business service to fully remediate impact for all users.

Scope of impact: This event may impact any users who attempt to open .MSG files that contain specific character codes in OneDrive for Business.
