Title: Users seeing timeout errors or loading page get stuck when attempting to access Microsoft Fabric User impact: Users are unable to access Microsoft Fabric. Current status: We've been alerted to an issue in which users in West Europe region are seeing timeout errors or the loading page get stuck when attempting to access Microsoft Fabric. We suspect that some offending changes were deployed, which is causing this impact. We're further investigating into recently deployed changes to identify the source of impact. In the interim, we're increasing the resource limitation on the Microsoft Fabric service infrastructure to allow it to efficiently handle access requests. Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and users in West Europe region who are attempting to access Microsoft Fabric are impacted. Final status: We’ve determined that a subsection of service infrastructure that facilitates access to the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI services, had fallen below our manageable service performance thresholds and resulted in impact. We’ve optimized the environment to handle requests more efficiently, and confirmed that impact has been remediated.

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to any admin located or served by the affected infrastructure in West Europe.

End time: Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 6:35 AM UTC

Root cause: A subsection of service infrastructure that facilitates access to access the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI services, had fallen below our manageable service performance thresholds and resulted in impact.
