Microsoft is experiencing service degradation that may impact MSU Denver users when accessing the following services. Email, Sharepoint, OneDrive. Services that are hosted by Microsoft Azure that MSU Denver users utilize may be affected such as Dynamic Forms. We are currently monitoring updates from Microsoft and will update with any changes. Official status update from Microsoft: "User impact: Users may be unable to access the Microsoft 365 admin center and see delays when accessing other Microsoft 365 services."

Microsoft has confirmed that the issue has been resolved and that Microsoft services are operating as expected.

Official statement from Microsoft: " We identified a code issue within a recent change that led to impact, and we've subsequently corrected it to provide mitigation. We confirmed via internal testing, diagnostic data, and customer reports that the issue is resolved. "

Microsoft has confirmed that Microsoft Azure is back to 98% functionality, while this is close to 100% some users may experience degradation still with Microsoft services. Microsoft is actively working on recovery, and it is estimated that it won't be at 100% till early morning October 30th. MSU Denver will continue to monitor the situation and provide any new updates from Microsoft.

Microsoft has confirmed that Microsoft Azure is on track to be fully mitigated by 6:40 PM Mountain, for other Microsoft services such as Email, they have confirmed that their infrastructure has been brought back to a healthy state, but users may experience service degradation as part of the recovery process. No clear timetable for services outside of Microsoft Azure has been provided yet. MSU Denver will continue to monitor and update as new information is provided.

Microsoft has successfully applied their fix and are estimating service recovery by 5:30PM Mountain Time. Users may still experience some service degradation in the meantime. MSU Denver will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they are given by Microsoft.

Microsoft is still working on deploying the fix to return services back to normal. There is no timetable provided by Microsoft yet.
