Outage Details

We deployed a new version of STC on Sept 17 22:05 UTC to support dynamically provisioned certificates for Speedtest Custom HTTPS servers. There was a regression included in this release which caused Speedtest Custom to return a malformed domain name, causing a certificate hostname mismatch. All Speedtest Custom test instances with HTTPS enabled, including those with self managed certificates, were not able to perform end user intitated tests. The root cause of the issue was triaged and a fix was released at Sept 18 04:48 UTC.
