Elevated database connection failures

This incident has been resolved.

The game is now up and running and we are monitoring the new server's stability.

All data has been transferred. We will now test everything to make sure it all runs smoothly and set up an event for Arceus (Psychic).
An announcement will follow on our Discord when the game is back up to play, hopefully it won't be much longer now.

Server setup is now complete and we are currently in the process up transferring all data and game files to the new server.

Provisioning of the server is complete. We are now in the process of setting up the new server with the necessary software and configuration.

The primary SSD of the server is confirmed to be failing. Rather than replace it, we will take the opportunity to upgrade the server entirely, so we are currently in talks with the datacentre in Switzerland to have a new server provisioned.

All data has successfully been retrieved from the server and we are now investigating the cause of the problem to have the necessary hardware repaired or replaced.

One or more hardware components in the database server is failing, causing a huge slowdown in read/write processes.

We are currently in the process of retrieving all files from the server which is an incredibly slow process due to this issue and based on the current speed, it is likely to take days.
Unfortunately, during this time, the game will be unplayable and you will not be able to interact with the Discord bot.

Any updates on this will be posted here if/when changes occur.
