Polygon mainnet archive nodes are experiencing elevated latency for debug_traceBlockByNumber requests.This began after the Polygon hard fork on December 9, 2025.
Standard RPC methods (eth_call, eth_getBlockByNumber, eth_getTransactionReceipt, etc.) continue to operate normally.
Our infrastructure team is investigating the root cause and monitoring all Polygon archive nodes. We expect to provide an update within the next 2 hours.

The Polygon foundation have provided a beta upgrade that should resolve the problem. Our engineering teams will be testing the update, and if successful they will roll out the patch update across all of our nodes.
