There’s a Salesforce service feature degradation. During a feature degradation, some features are unavailable or run at less than optimal performance. We’re investigating the issue and an update will be provided in 30 minutes or sooner if we have more information.

Reindexing finished on May 16 at 19:40 UTC. In addition, teams undertook measures to increase disk capacity on the database to assist with potential new indexing delays. This additional capacity has not had the desired effect, and they are still observing delays. Customers can utilize the Seach functionality; however, they may experience delayed searchability for newly created items. The team is continuing to work on resolving this secondary issue.

The reindexing continues to progress and the technology teams are waiting for the reindexing to complete. This may take several days. We’ll update you once additional information is available or when the reindexing process is complete.

Reindexing is progressing as expected but is taking longer than initially anticipated. Some customers may experience signs of recovery as this progresses. We can’t provide an estimated completion time due to varying org sizes across the instance.

At 23:00 UTC on May 08, 2024, the Salesforce Technology team became aware of a feature degradation impacting the Global Search Functionality. Customers may experience errors and inaccurate results while using the service. Teams are actively working to reindex the impacted orgs to fully restore functionality.

We anticipate that the reindexing process may take several hours to complete. We’ll provide an update on May 10, 2024, at 10:30 UTC or sooner if additional information becomes available.
