We've resolved the issues some users were experiencing with the "Join Channel" button remaining after becoming a channel member.

Affected users should hard refresh their app (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) to capture the fix. If you're still encountering trouble, please drop a line to feedback@slack.com. We apologize for the trouble.

Our investigation continues, and we're progressing toward a fix. While this issue has proven more intricate, we still encourage affected users to hard-refresh their Slack app (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) if they're encountering a stuck "Join Channel" button. We'll be back once we have news to share and we thank you for your patience in the meantime.

No additional news to share just yet, but we’re focused on getting things back to normal as quickly as we can. Affected users can continue refreshing their Slack app or clicking the "Join Channel" button an additional time as a temporary workaround. We apologize for the continued trouble.

Our investigation is still ongoing, but we've determined that affected users do properly receive channel membership though, their Slack app (mobile, desktop, or web browser) may not reflect the change correctly. This causes the banner containing the "Join Channel" button to remain for only some channels.
We've also received reports from some users that hard refreshing their desktop app or web browser (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) or clicking the "Join Channel" button an additional time may resolve the issue.
We'll be back with another update once we have news to share. Thanks for bearing with us while we get this sorted.
