There are gaps in satellite coverage due to data centre impacts from Hurricane Helene. Data for 2024-09-27 to 2024-09-31 this period may experience degraded quality as high resolution imagery is not available.

GOES data for North America, South America and Hawaii has been restored.

Due to ongoing upstream issues with GOES data, we are currently generating forecasts from backup alternative sources with an increased latency of 2 hours.
