Outage Details

A spike in endpoint requests caused degradation in the GCP US EAST region from 1:35 PM UTC to 1:55 PM UTC. A spike of endpoint requests caused the readers to process requests much slowly requests causing an increase in the response time, and finally, Nginx started to cut connections to avoid causing more problems. This led to 502 and 429 HTTP status errors. Now, everything is stable, we have identified to problem and we are monitoring and working on avoiding any new issues in the future. You can check the impact on your workspaces by running a query to `tinybird.pipe_stats_rt`

A spike in endpoint requests caused degradation in the GCP US EAST region from 1:35 PM UTC to 1:55 PM UTC.

A spike of endpoint requests caused the readers to process requests much slowly requests causing an increase in the response time, and finally, Nginx started to cut connections to avoid causing more problems. This led to 502 and 429 HTTP status errors.

Now, everything is stable, we have identified to problem and we are monitoring and working on avoiding any new issues in the future.
