This incident has been resolved.
AWS claims the issue was fixed:
12:12 PM PST Between 10:27 AM and 12:03 PM PST we experienced increased Lambda invoke error rates in the US-EAST-2 Region. It may take some additional time to process backlogged async invoke traffic that accumulated during this period. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
Trullion's upload also seem to be back to normal behavior
Updating that Amazon are aware of the issue and investigating. The issue seems to be across all regions of AWS
