Information Technology Services (ITS) has confirmed that the fibers are restored and are functioning normally at this time.

The splicing team has determined that the damage is located approximately 12 feet underground. The splice crew may require a larger excavator and a shoring box. Work continues to access the damaged cable. No ETR at this time.

An issue has been identified near high voltage lines in Taylorsville for the GHBC-SCT fiber cut. They are currently awaiting an excavator (ETA 1 hour). There is no ETR at this time.
