Incident Report

From the APPS 6.10.5, BSP 6.6.4 version, we have identified an issue regarding static IP addresses assigned to disconnected Ethernet ports. In this configuration, Ethernet packets may be randomly redirected to these inactive ports. Our teams are currently working on a fix that will be deployed soon. In the meantime, we recommend only assigning static IP addresses to physically connected Ethernet ports.

BSP 6.6.6 fixes the issue and has been rolled out to the impacted boxes. This new version will be rolled out to all the boxes later.

When a static IP address is assigned to a disconnected Ethernet port, no packets will be redirected to that port.
